Bukit Mertajam is an old town located in Penang State but in Peninsular of Malaysia. Last Sunday morning, Urban Sketchers Penang members together with a Taiwanese friend had our weekly sketchwalk there. I did a two piece panorama view of the street, each piece's size is 28 x 76 cm. The building on the left piece is a supermarket, but unfortunately it was burn down few years ago. You can see that many red lanterns already been hang up in the street for Chinese New Year decoration and i can feel the happy moment of shopping of the residence in town.
